Application Process
MCU allows students to enter programs three times each year. All application materials must be submitted prior to the application deadlines to be considered for acceptance. Application and enrollment deadlines for 2010 are as follows:

You may apply online at www.midwifery.edu. An MCU application requires the following:
- Completion of application
- Completion of application questions
- Two references
- Digital “passport type” photo with solid background and a photocopy of driver’s license or similar identification
- Proof of high school graduation or the equivalent for Associate degree. Proof of secondary transcript for Bachelor or Master's degree.
- $35 Application Fee for Associate degree. $50 Application fee for Master's degree.
- Native speaker of English or score of 500 on TOEFL
- Official Interview
The application process is completed as follows:
- Send all required application materials
- Schedule an official interview
- Complete application file will be reviewed by the application committee
- Student will be notified via email of acceptance status
The Official Interview
The official interview is typically done over the phone and will last approximately 45 minutes. International students must cover the cost of the interview phone charges by initiating the call.
The objective of the interview is to make sure that you feel confident that MCU is the right program for you, MCU feels that you will be successful in the program, and to give you a brief program orientation.
What happens if I am accepted?
- You will receive an official acceptance notice via email.
- You must pay your annual student fee and acceptance processing fee immediately.
- Submit the Enrollment Agreement.
- Submit official form of identification.
- Submit the Financial Agreement.
- Approve Major Map and Payment Plan sent via email by the registrar.
- Complete PROD 100 in order to enroll in curriculum level classes. There is no charge for this class but it will prepare you for an optimal distance education experience at MCU.
