Jes La BleuJes La Bleu, BA Education, ASM, CPM Jes is passionate about global maternal & infant health care, working primarily with women & families in rural villages of under-developed countries. After teaching in Indonesia & seeing a need for further training to address the pressing issues of maternal & infant mortality, she attended the National College of Midwifery and graduated with her midwifery degree in 2009. Jes had the unique opportunity to complete her training in Davao City, Philippines where she worked directly with over 1,000 women and helped to staff a charity clinic that delivers over 2,000 babies per year. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Jes returned in August 2009 and has been attending home births since that time. She is delighted to join the teaching community with MCU and looks forward to working with midwives in all stages of the journey. Jes loves the mountains and being outdoors, travel, cultures, and languages. She will be moving to Northern India in July 2010 to help launch a Maternal & Infant Health Care Project, working in 40 rural villages 1174 E 2700 S STE 2 SLC, UT 84106-2671 1-866-680-2756 1-801-649-5230 Fax: 1-866-207-2024 office@midwifery.edu |
